Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
  • Cut the acorn squashes in half and scoop out the seeds.
  • In a small bowl, mix olive oil, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Brush the mixture over the cut sides of the squash.
  • Place the squashes cut-side down in the air fryer basket.

Cooking

  • Cook for 15-20 minutes or until tender. Test doneness with a fork.
  • Serve warm as a side dish.

Notes

For a crispier exterior, increase cooking time slightly. Ensure proper preheating and avoid overcrowding the air fryer.
