For the apple topping

  • 3 cups fresh apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp), peeled and sliced Provides natural tartness and sweetness.
  • 1 tsp cinnamon Elevates the apple flavor.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of springform pans or muffin tins.
  • In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Blend in sour cream, eggs, and sugar until creamy.

Apple Preparation

  • Toss sliced apples with brown sugar and cinnamon.

Assembly

  • Layer the cheesecake filling over the crusts, then add spiced apple slices on top. Sprinkle rolled oats over the apples.

Baking

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and the center is slightly jiggly. Allow to cool completely before serving.

Notes
