Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Caesar dressing Creamy and tangy, this dressing brings a burst of flavor that pairs beautifully with chicken.
  • 1/2 cup sour cream Rich and luscious, it adds a velvety texture to the sauce.
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese This aromatic cheese delivers a nutty depth and contributes to the overall creaminess.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Fragrant and flavorful, it enhances the dish with a punch of garlicky goodness.
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper A hint of heat that balances the creaminess and adds warmth.
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt Essential to enhance all the flavors in the dish.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning A blend of herbs that imbues the meal with an aromatic, herbaceous note.
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional) Adds a deliciously gooey finish atop the chicken.
  • to taste Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish) Provides a pop of color and freshness that finishes the dish beautifully.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the Caesar dressing, sour cream, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, and Italian seasoning. Stir until smooth to form a creamy and aromatic sauce.
  • Place the chicken breasts in the prepared dish and coat them generously with the creamy sauce.

Cooking

  • Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  • Remove the foil, sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top (if using), and bake uncovered for an additional 5 minutes.
  • Let it rest for a few minutes, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve.

Notes

Make sure to preheat your oven for even cooking. Using a meat thermometer is recommended to check fordoneness. Resting the chicken allows juices to redistribute.
