Ingredients
  

For the Rolls

  • 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough 8 oz, soft and flaky
  • 8 links breakfast sausage savory and juicy
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese rich and creamy
  • 1 egg, beaten for egg wash

Optional Serving

  • to taste maple syrup for dipping

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  • Place one breakfast sausage link at the wide end of each crescent triangle.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of the sausage.
  • Roll the dough around the sausage, starting from the wide end and rolling toward the point.
  • Place the wrapped sausages on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Brush the tops with the beaten egg.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Serving

  • Serve warm with maple syrup on the side for dipping.
