Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until a smooth dough forms.

Baking

  • Bake for 12–14 minutes or until the bottoms are lightly golden.
  • Allow cookies to cool for 5 minutes, then roll in powdered sugar.

Notes

For a firmer cookie, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking. Ensure cherries are well-drained to avoid excess moisture in the dough.
