Filling

  • 1/2 cup Nutella Creamy hazelnut spread for filling.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, sift together the almond flour, powdered sugar, and cocoa powder.
  • In a separate bowl, whip the egg whites on medium speed until foamy, then gradually add granulated sugar and continue whipping until stiff peaks form.
  • Gently fold the sifted dry ingredients into the whipped egg whites using a spatula.
  • Fold in the vanilla extract.
  • Pipe small circles of the batter onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Tap the baking sheet on the counter to release any air bubbles and let the macarons rest for 30-60 minutes.

Baking

  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until the macarons feel firm to the touch.
  • Allow the macarons to cool completely on the baking sheet.

Assembly

  • Spread Nutella on half of the macarons and top with the remaining shells.
  • Enjoy or store in an airtight container.

Notes

Use a kitchen scale for precise measurements. Ensure your mixing bowls are clean and dry. Don't skip the resting time for better texture.
