Chocolate Mix-ins

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
  • In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Gradually mix in the flour mixture until just combined.
  • Gently fold in the semi-sweet and white chocolate chips.
  • Using a cookie scoop, drop dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet about two inches apart.
  • Press the Easter bunny candies and a few chocolate eggs onto the top of each dough ball.

Baking

  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are golden brown while the centers remain soft.
  • Let them rest on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Measure your ingredients accurately and do not overmix the dough. Let the cookies cool to set properly. Cookies can be frozen after cooling.
