  • Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm spot until doubled in size (1-2 hours).

Baking

  • Punch down the dough, divide into three strands, and braid them.
  • Place on a lined baking sheet, cover, and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
