  • 8 ounces whipped topping, thawed Creates an indulgent finishing layer.

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese using an electric mixer until smooth.
  • Gradually add the sugar, mixing until fully combined.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, dissolve one box of Jello in 1 cup of boiling water.
  • Add 1 cup of cold water to the Jello mixture and mix well before pouring half of this mixture into the graham cracker crust.
  • Refrigerate for 30-45 minutes until slightly set.
  • Once set, gently spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the Jello layer.
  • Return the pie to the refrigerator and chill again for another 30-45 minutes until firm.
  • Dissolve the second box of Jello in 1 cup of boiling water and mix in 1 cup of cold water.
  • Pour this Jello over the cream cheese layer.
  • Chill the pie for at least 4-6 hours or overnight.
  • Before serving, spread the whipped topping over the entire pie and garnish with festive Easter candies or colorful sprinkles.

Notes

Allowing ample time for each layer to set ensures the pie's integrity and flavor. Use softened cream cheese to avoid lumps.
