Ingredients
  

For the Herb Mixture

  • 4 oz Cream Cheese Softened for easy spreading
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Basil Chopped
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley Chopped
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Chives Chopped
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed

For the Sandwich

  • 4 slices Sourdough Bread High-quality for best results
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella For gooey cheesiness
  • 2 tbsp Butter For grilling

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, blend the cream cheese with the chopped basil, parsley, chives, and a splash of lemon juice until smooth.
  • Generously spread the herb mixture on one side of each slice of sourdough.
  • On half of the slices, sprinkle a generous amount of shredded mozzarella.
  • Place the remaining slices on top of the cheese-covered slices, herb side down.

Grilling

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter. Once melted, place the sandwiches in the skillet.
  • Grill for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Serving

  • Remove from the skillet, slice diagonally, and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve with classic tomato soup or a light salad. For healthier alternatives, consider whole grain or gluten-free bread.
