Ingredients
  

For the guacamole

  • 2 pieces ripe Hass avocados Ensure they are ripe for the best texture.
  • 1 piece red chili Adds a touch of heat.
  • 2 pieces medium spring onions Finely chopped for flavor.
  • 1 clove medium clove garlic Pungent and aromatic.
  • 2 pieces fresh limes Juice for brightness.
  • 1 pinch sea salt flakes Enhances flavor.
  • to taste freshly ground black pepper Classic seasoning.

For the toast

  • 2 slices your favorite bread Whole grain, sourdough or gluten-free.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cut the ripe avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
  • Finely chop the spring onions, garlic, and red chili, and add them to the avocado in the bowl.
  • Roll the limes on a countertop, cut them in half, and squeeze the juice into the bowl, removing any seeds.
  • Add a pinch of sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to the mixture.
  • Mash the avocado mixture to your preferred texture with a fork or potato masher.

Assembly

  • Toast the slices of bread until golden brown.
  • Spread a generous layer of guacamole on top of each slice and serve immediately.

Notes

Can enhance flavors by letting the guacamole sit for 30 minutes. Consider topping with cherry tomatoes, feta, or poached eggs for added flavor.
