Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Trim and cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces, seasoning them with salt, pepper, and half of the spices.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of butter and sauté the onion until translucent.
  • Stir in the garlic and ginger for another minute to release their aromatic oils.
  • Pour in the tomato sauce and add the remaining spices. Simmer for 8-10 minutes.
  • Stir in the heavy cream and return the chicken to the skillet. Simmer for another 5 minutes until everything is warmed through.
  • Garnish with cilantro and serve immediately over rice or naan.

Notes

Prep ahead by chopping onions and garlic to save time during cooking. Use fresh spices for vibrant flavors. Don’t rush the simmering step for deeper flavors.
