Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, and Sriracha sauce to create the sauce. Set aside.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and grated ginger; sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add ground chicken and break it up as it cooks, browning for 5 to 7 minutes until fully cooked.
  • Stir in broccoli florets, cooking for 3 to 4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  • Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken and broccoli. Stir well and let cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes until sauce thickens.
  • Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds, if desired.

Serving

  • Plate and serve on its own or over a bed of cooked rice.

Notes

For meal prep, this dish is perfect for lunch throughout the week. Pair with jasmine rice, cauliflower rice, or use lettuce wraps for a lighter meal. Avoid overcooking the chicken and burning the garlic for best results.
