  • 2 cups Minute Rice (brown or white) Quick-cooking rice that adds a tender texture.
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup Serves as a rich base for the casserole.
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup Adds depth and earthiness.
  • 1 can water Use the soup can for measurement.
  • 1 tablespoon butter For greasing the baking pan.
  • 1 envelope Lipton Onion Soup mix Provides an aromatic flavor infusion.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan with butter.
  • In a bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, water, and Minute Rice until well combined.
  • Spread the rice mixture evenly in the greased pan.
  • Place the chicken breasts on top of the rice mixture, spaced evenly.
  • Sprinkle the Lipton Onion Soup mix evenly over the chicken.
  • Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 1 to 1.5 hours.

Notes

For best results, pre-mix the soups and rice ahead of time. Covering the dish tightly is essential to keep the chicken moist.
