Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Trim and pat dry the chicken breasts.
  • Prepare the coating: In one bowl, whisk together flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. In a second bowl, beat the eggs. Finally, place the crushed pretzel crumbs in a third bowl.
  • Coat each chicken breast in the seasoned flour, then dip into the egg mixture, and finally press into the pretzel crumbs.

Cooking

  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, carefully place the coated chicken breasts in the pan.
  • Cook for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.

Cheddar Sauce

  • Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in the flour for about a minute.
