  • 1 cup Cooked Rice Soaks up the delicious juices.
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce Adds umami flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Provides aromatic flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika For smoky richness and color.
  • Salt and Pepper to taste Essential seasonings for flavor.

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until the beef is browned and the onion is translucent, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  • Stir in the shredded cabbage and cook until slightly wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add diced tomatoes (with juices), cooked rice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix well and let simmer for about 5 minutes.
  • Transfer mixture into a greased baking dish and cover with aluminum foil.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the cabbage is tender and the dish is bubbling.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, use fresh ingredients and allow the dish to rest before serving. This dish can also be made in a slow cooker for a longer, slower cook time.
