  • 1 inch grated ginger Adds freshness and a slight spiciness.
  • 1/2 piece onion, thinly sliced Adds subtle sweetness.
  • 1 piece red bell pepper, thinly sliced Adds color and sweetness.
  • 1 piece carrot, julienned Provides crunch and earthiness.
  • 2 pieces green onions, chopped For garnish.
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds Toasted for added flavor.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Bring a pot of water to a boil, add noodles, and cook until al dente, about 4-5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together gochujang, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Add the thinly sliced beef and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Cooking

  • Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  • Add sliced onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Increase heat and add marinated beef, cooking for about 4-5 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  • Stir in red bell pepper and carrot, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until tender.
  • Add cooked noodles to the pan and gently toss everything together to coat noodles with the sauce.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

Pair with cucumber salad or kimchi for a complete meal. Avoid overcrowding the pan during cooking for better searing.
