Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup and to prevent sticking.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg until fluffy and aromatic.
  • In another bowl, mix the milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and melted butter until well combined.
  • Combine the wet mixture with the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just mixed. A few lumps are perfectly fine.
  • Gently fold in the diced apples, ensuring they're well distributed in the batter.
  • Drop spoonfuls of batter onto the prepared baking sheet, shaping them into rounds.

Baking

Making the Glaze
