Preparation

  • In a small saucepan, heat your almond milk over low heat. Once warm, add the culinary lavender. Allow to steep for about 10 minutes, then strain to remove the lavender.
  • In a blender, combine the cooked purple sweet potato, frozen banana, and strained lavender milk. Add honey (or maple syrup) and vanilla extract.
  • Blend until smooth. Start on low speed, then increase to high. Add more almond milk or ice for desired consistency.
  • Pour into a chilled glass and serve. Optional: top with edible flowers or granola.
